This project involved the recreation of the interior walls in common areas of the building in Chicago as the interior suffered from Water Damage and intern progressed into mold damage. The tricky part of this project was recreating the vintage interior walls with the same elegance that they possessed prior to the damage that accrued. Demolition and dismissal of all mold infected surfaces took place initially. We installed a water proof membrane on the inner side of the walls as well as the outside. As an additional precautionary we used a heady duty mold resistant insulation product inside all damaged walls.  We Reconstructed all wood work, drywall and baseboard. We patched, sanded and painted the walls. 123 Remodeling also completed masonry and tuckpointing work to the exterior of the building.
